Prime Minister’s key adviser thought to have visited MI6 and MI5 twice already

Boris Johnson’s top political adviser has been granted permission to visit five of the UK’s top-secret security sites ahead of the looming integrated review.

Dominic Cummings – who has made no secret of his commitment to overhauling the way the Ministry of Defence (MoD) functions – will be given tours of the Special Boat Service, based at Poole, Dorset, the SAS headquarters in Hereford, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down, Salisbury, the Rapid Capabilities Office at Farnborough and the Defence Intelligence Unit at Wyton.

Mr Cummings is thought to have visited MI6 and MI5 twice already, according to correspondence seen by the Sydney Morning Herald.
